An Attitude of Gratitude

I decided to do this post after my Dad did it on his blog. While I was eating lunch today, I was reading the Ensign, a magazine put out by the Church, and with in minutes discovered where he got the idea! I am so excited to show him my answers so here's for you Dad!

Take a Gratitude Challenge

Here is the Challenge:
Let's not just talk about counting our blessing--let"s do it! Write a list of 100 things you are thankful for. If that sounds like it is too many, try this:

Write 10 physical abilities you are grateful for
1. The ability to get down on the floor and rough house with my active little boy.
2. The ability to work.
3. The ability to serve others.
4. The ability to bare children...it is a wonderful gift to work with God to create a new life.
5. The ability to care for my Grandmother in her old age.
6. The ability to play many instruments.
7. The ability to easily communicate with my family on a regular basis.
8. The ability to walk to church, when the weather permits!
9. The ability to hear the noises around me.
10. The ability to cook, clean, and sew for my family.

Write 10 material possessions you are grateful for.
1. The ring on my finger from the man who loves me and wants the world to know it.
2. The picture of the temple on the wall constantly reminding me of what my goals are.
3. Two cars that work perfectly.
4. The house we are so blessed to rent to keep us safe from the weather.
5. My sewing machine.
6. My hymn book.
7. The food in the house.
8. Our wonderful couch that makes movie time so wonderful when we are all curled up under blankets!
9. My temple recommend.
10. My camera to capture precious memories with!

1. Chris, my wonderful husband.
2. Tyson, my amazingly smart little boy.
3. My Dad, who is always setting a good example for me.
4. My Mom, who I can tell anything and she will still love me.
5. My sister, who has become one of my dearest friends over the years.
6. My brother, Ben, who sets an example for me everyday while he is out serving the Lord.
7. My brother, Brian, who has helped me learn so many different things over the last 9 years of his life.
8. My mother in law, who spoils us (mainly Tyson) more than she ever should!
9. My father in law, who is so loving and open minded.
10. President Thomas S. Monson, who is the true prophet of God on Earth today.
