It has been forever since I've posted! I am not going to lie, I did start a post on our Orlando trip but then I decided that I just didn't have the energy to do the whole thing. I may take the time to post about it in a few different posts but know that Chris and I had a wonderful time exploring Orlando together and getting to sleep in as late as we wanted!
Tyson and his prizes from our trip. He loves his Mickey Mouse toy!
Other things that have been going on are definitely not as exciting but just as important. Tyson is continuing to grow and develop each and every day. I cannot tell you how many times I have asked myself where the time has gone along with where he gets his brains from! I can't believe how smart he is and just how much he LOVES to talk. The fact that I can understand most of what he is saying gets me the most. His favorite things right now are playing at the park with the ducks, coloring with sidewalk chalk, and playing with Laurie and Clair's neighborhood kids!
We went to East Canyon this last weekend for Memorial Day and let me just say we spent a little too much time inside the trailer. The weather was less than cooperative and Tyson got sick. We actually decided to take him to an urgent care clinic on Saturday because his fever was so high. They checked him out and said he might have and ear infection and wrote us a prescription for an antibiotic. We spent most of Saturday and Sunday trying to get him so relax. We watched Up! a few too many times but it kept him happy. Sunday, we noticed that he was biting his cheek and couldn't figure out why. We checked things out and discovered a HUGE canker sore. After putting salt on it twice we were finally able to get him to stop chewing on it so hopefully it will go away soon! His poor little nose looks like Rudolph's so I had to go and get some of those nifty saline wipes to help his nose from getting too sore. He has been having the worst time a night, big surprise, so I am one tired Momma but I think he is starting to feel a little better today so let's hope tonight goes better!
We are officially in the single digits as far as weeks til my due date is concerned! We are 9 weeks out and can't wait to meet our little man. Although we want him to cook as long as possible :) I have a check up this afternoon and then I believe we will be having our last ultrasound at my next appointment in 2 weeks. We are hoping that he has turned and is no longer breech. My doc says he may not turn until last minute but I am hoping that he turns by our ultrasound so that it will put my mind at ease.
Chris is starting up summer classes and was bummed to get and e-mail the other day telling him that his CNA course has been canceled because not enough people signed up for it. We are really hoping that he can get into a fall class so that he can get it done and start working. He is anxious to get started in the nursing field!
