To Sum it Up

I have been awful at posting lately and if I try to do a post for everything I wanna post about then it will take me FOREVER to get updated! This post is going to sum up everything that has been going on lately! It may be kinda long but it will be much easier!

The next big thing that happened after Christmas was Tyson's 9 month appointment. Yes, believe it or not he is now 9 almost 10 months old! I can't believe how fast this has all gone by and that he will be 1 on just about 2 months! His stats from his appointment were as follows:
Weight: 17 lbs. 14 oz
Height: 27.5 in.
He is around the 11th percentile for both which is about where he has been since day one. He is a pretty small baby but I am glad for that. He has hit a phase where he wants to be held and carried all the time and cries when I leave the room. His lightness makes it easier to sweep and vacuum while carrying him sometimes.
He had been kinda sick for about a week before his appointment with what I though was just a cold. Dr. Evans looked in his ears and told me that he had infection in both. Yay for us....NOT! We started him on some antibiotics for the next ten days. Well 2 days after we finished his meds, he got a really high fever. We gave it 24 hours and when it wasn't any better we decided to take him to the doctor. We learned that his ear infection had gotten worse. The antibiotics did NOTHING! Ugh! He put him on a new antibiotic and Tyson was pretty fussy for a few days. His ear infection is better now but he has started to get his top teeth. I just can't win!
Tigger makes a good step stool!

He did this to himself...Chris and I looked over to see his little legs dangling there between the rungs!

Cute little caterpillar I picked out for him for Christmas. Those antennas are sure good to chew on!

Two in one: It's a toy and a binkie!

Brushing his two little teeth!

For New Year's Eve, we had a little party over at Laurie and Clair's place while they were in New Mexico visiting Corey and Brandi. We invited Sean to come down form Logan and Ben and Wendi came. Wendi's cousin and her husband came too. We also invited Kami and Dave. Kami and Dave brought Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii. It was such an awesome night! Tyson went to bed on time and slept until we came up to the room to go to bed and then Chris woke him up with his snoring and coughing. Chris and I decided to move to a different room but then Tyson didn't go back to sleep until 4 AM!!! What a long night for me! Chris was sweet and took him when he woke up so I could get a little more sleep. We then spent the rest of the day hanging out with Sean before he went back to Logan since we don't get to see him very often.

Chris is a secret Dance Dance fanatic! Kami is a pro!

On Monday January 3rd, my parents and brothers came down to visit before Ben headed for the MTC on Wednesday. Tyson and I spent Tuesday hanging out with them! It was so nice to get that day to visit with Ben before he went on his mission and with my parents and Brian since it just might be a little bit until we get to see them again. Wednesday we followed them down to Provo to get to say so long to Ben for the next two years.  Well more like to see him for the last time for the next two years. I have been very diligent about writing him. That seems to be my way of dealing with him being gone. My parents and Brian had to head home on Thursday so life went back to normal. Well for a few days at least.
Tyson and Uncle Ben...who will from now on be referred to as Uncle Elder!

I love this kid!

Brian was constantly picking Tyson up! He loved to hold him!

Chris started school again on the 11th. He seems to be enjoying his classes so far. He is taking a Humanities class and all he has said about is that it isn't really his thing but it is kinda interesting. He is also taking a communications class on how to communicate at work and then just another computer class! Yay for him. He isn't the biggest fan of school but who really is.

That is it! I was able to get all in a minimal number of words but it really seems like it was so much more before I got it written up!
