We have been privileged to be able to visit with Corey while he has been in town the last few days. At the moment Chris is off in the woods with Corey, Ben, and his dad fishing the day away. I worried that Tyson would be super shy around Corey because he hardly knows him. I was very pleased (and surprised!) to find that that was not the case. Corey flew in from Albuquerque on Saturday the 13th. We all met up in SLC for some delicious Olive Garden! It was awesome to see how well Corey played with Tyson and that he knew exactly what to do to make him smile and laugh. I guess I should have expected it since Corey is a Pediatrician. I have just never seen him around kids Tyson's age so I thought it was great .We all headed up to Park City for a little shopping after lunch. When Corey met up with us after doing some shopping with Laurie, he took the stroller and just had a blast pushing him around.
Sunday we did a BBQ at Laurie and Clair's so that we could get some family time in. We headed over as soon as Tyson woke up from his nap. He was so excited to see Corey and Ben. He loves Ben too! After Ben and Wendi left Tyson got really active. Corey played some fun little games with him that he just wanted to do over and over and over. I felt kinda bad but could tell Corey was having fun. Then Corey would Chase him around that house and Tyson would just laugh and laugh!
We are so glad that we could spend time with Corey! We are sad that he has to leave tomorrow!
