We were in Montana for Halloween this year. It was fun to go because Halloween happens to be my youngest brother's birthday. We asked my parents to keep our trip a secret so that it would a birthday surprise! By some miracle, we actually pulled it off. We got to their house about 830 Tuesday night (Oct. 25th) and I knocked nice and loud on the door. I hear a commotion inside and multiple people hollering at Brian to answer the door. When he finally did, a look of shock crossed his face and he ran right back to the couch. It was hilarious! Everyone's favorite part was when he came up to me to give me a hug and called me Stephie....who is my sister....It was pretty funny. It was great fun to be able to surprise him!
We had a pretty laid back visit with a lot of relaxing. Chris went hunting one day and then let me go to my parents Stake Conference. Which was awesome because Elder Dallin H Oaks of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles presided over the meeting! I'll post about that little adventure later though!
Monday was great fun. We took our time getting ready and then headed out on a few errands with my brother while my mom made some peach cobbler for dessert. Chris ended up getting a new, to him, shotgun. He is a happy little camper about that! We met up with my mom for lunch at our favorite spot, Big Mouth BBQ! We can never get enough of that place! We were lucky enough for Tyson to take a decent nap for us so we played Mario Party 8 on the Wii with my brother. My BFF, Kasie, stopped by right when Tyson woke up with her 3 cute kids! It was fun to visit and let the kids play for a bit. They all became pretty good friends during our trip. After she left my sister took my little monkey up to her work for some trick or treating while Chris and I ran to the mall for a little shopping without the boy. We all met up at the mall and did our trick or treating there. The mall up there puts on a little thing every year because it can get so cold that going door to door can be pretty unbearable sometimes. Tyson got a good bit of candy and that was all for us. We headed back to the house for our delicious dinner that my mother so kindly made! It was a great visit! We were sad to leave but are definitely happy to back in our little house and back on our usual schedule!

Steph was attacking Brian and Tyson was laughing so hard! It was adorable!
Eating some of his candy....he was too impatient to wait!

Our pumpkins. Ours are on the top row. The bottom row from left to right are my dad's, Steph and Scott's (her boyfriend), and Brian's!
I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC Halloween!

Thats fun you were able to spend Halloween with your family in Montana. Tyson looks so cute in his monkey costume. Did you ever hear back about that job you interviewed for? We will have to get together soon especially before it gets really busy with the holidays.
