We are Growing!

The picture says it all! Chris and I are happy to say that we are expecting baby number 2 on July 31st! That puts me at 12 weeks! 

We have known since before Thanksgiving but just barely spread the word to our families! Now we are on to spreading the news to...the world! We are beyond excited! We love being parents and can't wait to have a little brother or sister for Tyson to become great friends with over the years! 

 Tyson definitely doesn't understand exactly what is going on but we are trying to tell him everyday that he is going to be a big brother and that soon there will be a new baby in the house. He just likes to say baby and be done with it. I am sure he won't fully understand what is happening until the baby is actually here but we will keep telling him!

I've already had 2 appointments and 2 ultrasounds. The first appointment was actually because we were worried about a miscarriage and just wanted to check everything. Lucky for us everything looked great! That was at 7 weeks. Then we had my original appointment that I had scheduled for 9 weeks. It was great to go back and be reassured that everything was still fine. At the second appointment they took blood and all that jazz. I go back on the 24th of Jan but I probably won't have an ultrasound, just get to listen to the heartbeat. Then we will set up our Feb appointment for when we will find out the gender. It is so close and yet still so far away!
