So much has changed this last month. It has been crazy to see him really develop! He rolls from his belly to his back sometimes and is so close to rolling from his back to his belly! He absolutely loves to lay on the playmat and grab at all the toys hanging above him. He chews on EVERYTHING now! Sometimes I am lucky enough to get him to hold onto his own bottle while he eats! It is crazy to see him do it!
We bought a Bumbo while we were in Montana because he loves to sit up but is always pulling himself over when we prop him up on the couch or something. He loves to sit in the Bumbo while I do dishes and then he just talks to me. Man is he a talker...He makes some of the cutest baby noises and tries so hard to have a "conversation" with us!
He loves to look at the TV now. Sometimes the only way that I can get him to stop fussing is to turn on an animated movie for him. He just loves all the lights and colrs! That is usually how I get my showers in.
We have officially started teething and man is it crazy!!! He gets to be so fussy sometimes though. It was really funny, I was able to feel a tooth just a couple days ago and then the next day it was gone. I know that they come and go for awhile before they finally break through but it just made me laugh that it was there one day and gone the next. I have some of the Hylands Teething Tablets from Wal Mart and those do great at getting him to calm down and sleep for an hour or so but when he wakes up he is fussy if not worse than before he fell asleep. Sometimes I just give him Tylenol because I don't know what else to do. That usually works for a while but then he is right back to being fussy. The nights are usually when it is the worst and I've read that it is because the pain is worse because they are still and trying to relax. It is crazy and I am doing my best to be patient but somedays it is really hard to handle. He is always good when we are around other people though.
Tyson now eats baby cereal with baby food mixed into it! It has only been a week since we've started it and so far he is loving it! We have tried Pears and Peaches which he seems to really like both! It was funny to watch him eat it the first few times. I could tell that he wasn't sure what to think about it but I think he is starting to get used to it because he seems to be getting the hang of it! I am absolutely loving feeding him solid foods! It is so much fun for me and it was fun to watch Chris feed him the first time!!!
I am loving being a mom and seeing how much he changes each and everyday!!! He really is my little miracle!!!

Those teething tablets are ok to give him several times a day if you need to. Jackson once ate almost a whole bottle of them once and I flipped and called poison control only to have them tell me he'd be just fine because they are homepathic and perfectly safe. I'd avoid tylenol as much as possible just because you don't want him to create a resistace to it. Also try putting a wet washcloth in the freezer for a while and let him chew on that to numb him up a bit. They also have tons of teething rings that you can freeze too, check them out, they are wonderful too. Good luck and I hope he feels better soon!!
He is getting so big! I havent seen him in a long time but its fun to see the pictures on your blog. He looks cute in the bumbo & I cant wait until Bailee can hold her own bottle & feed herself but at the same time Im sure I will miss it.
