Daddy and Me!

Tyson loves his Daddy! They have all kinds of "Daddy and Me" things that they do. Sometimes I do some of the things to but usually it is something that just him and Chris do. There are a number of things but I will only name a few.

Chris loves to imitate what Tyson is doing. It was pretty funny when I caught this on camera. Tyson was flopping his legs around and Chris was doing the same and it would wiggle Tyson around. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first but after a minute or two he just started to laugh!

Chris is training for a marathon next fall and goes running on the days that I work. In order to do that he has to load Tyson up in the jogging stroller. Whenever Chris says, "Do you want to go for a run in the stroller?" Tyson goes crazy and gets all excited. He just talks or sleeps while Chris runs. They usually run up to JoAnns and come in and say hi to me and then run home! It is great that Chris has something that enables him to exercise while taking care of Tyson. He absolutely loves it and we pretty bummed when he found out that he can't have a jogging stroller during the marathon. It's okay though because I'm pretty sure that he would have problems keeping an eighteen month old happy for a number of hours while he ran 26.7 miles!

Chris always stops at trees and bushes when we are walking past them while he is carrying Tyson. Tyson absolutely loves to feel the trees and the leaves. He isn't as big of a fan of the pine needles though. He is always ripping the leaves off and wanting to eat them!

OK, in reality we both love to cuddle with him until he falls asleep sometimes but it is one of Chris's favorites to just come home from a long day of work and cuddle up with Tyson (if he is still awake) and hold him until he falls asleep.

He also sings to him in Spanish when he puts him down for naps. It is one of Chris's favorite things to do and is sometimes the only way that Tyson will calm down enough to fall asleep. I just love to listen to it when I am home. It really is one of the sweetest things in the world to me!
