Time to Catch Up

I have been behind on my blogging for a little while now although I did post a few times last month I feel like I have left a lot out so here is what has been going on with us. 

There really isn't a ton of fun and excitement. Chris started up a new semester at the beginning of the year that has him nice and busy along with work. A week before the semester started his job decided to start having him work four 10 hour shifts. He said it would be nice to have one day off of work a week but it has turned into a lot of very long days for him. It just so happens that they 4 days they want him to work are the 4 days that he has class in the evening. Monday though Thursday he gets up at 4 am to go to the gym before work, he then works from 6-430 pm. After that he heads to class til about 630 or 7 each night. Then he gets home late and gets ready to start the whole process over. Then Fridays he has class from 1 to 6 so he is gone from about noon to 7. It has been a lot of stress on all of us for him to be gone so much. I know that Tyson really misses his Daddy but he gets the weekends with them and they sure don't miss a moment of it! 

I have been working very little because of a lack of hours available and the lack of customers but that is all about to change because we are starting to prepare for our store closing and then the opening of a new store just a little ways away from us. It has been a lot of stress and very little information. We don't really know very many details of exactly how things are going to pan out. We do know that we have very little product left because we stopped getting shipments back in January which leads to a lot of upset customers. It is high stress for all involved but we are definitely excited to get into a bigger, newer building! I have been keeping busy with keeping up with all the household chores along with chasing my crazy son around. We have a had a friend over a couple times in the last couple weeks. It was great to have someone to talk to and a little friend for Tyson to play with. I have done a few crafts and definitely have plans for more. I discovered the wonders of Pinterest over the last couple weeks and am having fun finding cute craft ideas and yummy new recipes to try on there.

Tyson has been very active and has revealed what I expect is just a little taste of what the terrible twos are going to be like. Over the last little bit he has gone from a rather cooperative little boy to a not so cooperative terror when it comes to getting what he wants when he wants it. It doesn't help one bit that my crazy pregnancy hormones seem to be extra sensitive right now. The joys of the transition from the first trimester to the second. 

 Tyson is usually a little slow getting started in the morning so we put in a movie and he usually sits for about half an hour before getting up and running around.

We went to visit Chris's cousin and his wife and little boy one Saturday. We stayed over night cause it was so late and while Chris and I were collecting our things, Heather was playing with Tyson. He kept looking through these blinds and yelling "HI!!!!" at her. It was so cute!

He was actually cuddling with Chris but it is amazing how calm he can be sometimes even though Chris is home. Usually he is very active around him.

That leads to baby number 2! We are still very excited to be expecting a new little one but the whole thing seems kinda surreal. I am a point where I have very little symptoms besides my crazy hormones and a bit of a lack of appetite. I am starting to expand but am definitely not showing yet and I feel pretty normal most of the time so it is hard to believe that I have a little human inside of me but I know it is there. We are going to find out in a couple of weeks what we are having and we sure can't wait! It is going to be so exciting and we will be extremely happy with a boy or a girl. I can't wait to start a few little craft projects for this new little one. I had an appointment 2 weeks ago and got to hear it's little heartbeat. You forget what a sweet experience it is until it is happening!
We don't have a ton going on that is super exciting but we sure are having fun trying to stay sane with all the craziness of Chris's schedule. I am hoping that things get better the more settled we get into the routine but we will see about that...
