I Wanna go to Bed, PLEASE!

Here I am, feeling like some kind of insomniac. I just can't seem to fall asleep tonight. Now it is only 930 pm but I have been trying to fall asleep for over an hour. I am going to try blogging a few things to calm my mind and then try sleeping again!

I have to say that this pregnancy is kicking me in the butt right now. Not so much from being sick all the time or uncomfortable 24/7 but from the simple fact that I am TIRED! It doesn't matter what I do during the day, I hit the end of the day and I'm just exhausted! I have been working full time for about a month now so I have been on my feet and using up what little energy I have a lot faster than before but I really don't feel like I'm doing enough to feel as tired as I am feeling. Oh well though! I know that my little man is nice and healthy and definitely getting bigger by the day! He is beginning to be very active! I can't wait til his kicks, punches, and other random movements become strong enough for Chris to feel them too. I keep thinking that they are and have him put his hand on my belly to feel and then he feels nothing. I swear he is starting to think I am making it up! I promise that I am not though!

I mentioned that I am working more right now and that is because my store is in the process of moving or technically JoAnns is closing one location and opening another one just a few blocks away from the closing store. I spent a couple weeks helping train a whole load of new hires on how to work the cash registers with the liquidation sale so that we would have a crew to work at the closing store while those of us who are familiar with many JoAnns processes and policies moved over to the new store to work frantically for 4 weeks to set everything up. I am now at the new store doing little odds and ends jobs that are just time consuming while sitting at a table making sure that all the contractors and vendors sign in and out when they come and go from the store. Real exciting right?!?!? I safety pinned a whole bunch of little plastic pockets together yesterday and then today I cut about 650 strips of velcro in 2 different lengths! I sure am living the dream....not! It all has to do with the limits of pregnancy because everything else involves lots of heavy lifting!  Everything around me is happening so fast though! It is amazing to see how much work a group of people can get done in just 2 days when they work together! Our store went from VERY, VERY WHITE yesterday morning to having quite the array of colors around the store. I could not believe how fast they had gotten the tasks done they had been asked to do! I kinda feel like I am witnessing a miracle! I was thinking to myself at the beginning, "How in the WORLD do they expect us to get everything set up and put away properly in just 4 WEEKS??" Now I believe that it is very possible and that we could even have extra time to perfect things in the last few days!

Well my eyelids are finally starting to feel heavy and my headache has gone away. Plus, I think Chris has stopped snoring! I think it may finally be time for some much needed sleep! Good night all!
