I made it half way! The last 20 weeks have been an adventure as I experienced a lot of different pregnancy symptoms than I did with Tyson. The next 20 weeks will be interesting as my belly and Tyson keep getting bigger!
We had our big anatomy scan last Friday. Things looked great! He was measuring at an average of 20 weeks and 1 day although I was only technically 19 weeks and 3 days. It is okay though because he is within a week! We got to listen to all 4 chambers of his heart. It was my favorite part with Tyson and was my favorite part with this little guy! He gave us a very brief view of his boy parts. He is definitely more modest than Tyson was! Everything else looked great! He was weighing about 12 ounces which was a whole 6 ounces more than at 16 weeks!
An ultrasound tech was the one who did our anatomy scan so I had a follow up with my OB on Tuesday. She said everything looked great in the ultrasound! She was trying to listen to his heartbeat and he kept running away from her. He was moving so much. I could most of it. It took her about 5 minutes of chasing him around to finally get a good listen. My favorite part of the whole thing was when she would start pressing a little harder to get a different angle, he would hit the doppler! It was hilarious! She gave me the OK to fly in May so Chris and I are planning a little trip for the 2 of us to Florida! I can't wait! It will be my first time ever on a plane and to the ocean! It will be nice for us to get in a little "babymoon" before life gets busy again with Chris in school and both of us working full time.
We are also excited to announce that we have picked a name for this little man! He is going to be Colton J Rood! I
