As I am sitting here eating breakfast with my sweet little man, I can't help but notice how ever few minutes we are both hacking up a lung. I caught a cold last week and now that I am mostly over it, my poor boy has it!
He started a fever last Friday and it's been going off and on since. I took him to the doctor yesterday after the weekend started to include a few nasty throw ups, a night a no sleep with the fussiest boy in the world, and a nice little cough developing. The doctor thinks that he just has a virus but wasn't sure if what he was seeing when he looked in his ears were the tubes plugged with fluid or just the normal parts of the middle ear. He says without the normal discharge from his ear like other kids that have tubes get when they have ear infections, it is difficult for him to decide what to do. SO he gave me a prescription and if he doesn't start doing better in the next few days then to go fill it and start giving it to him. Of coarse this morning he has to wake up congested and coughing up a lung! I am so hoping this is just a little virus he can fight off on his own!
I have a feeling that today will be a day full of coughing and nasty tissues! Maybe even a few more naps than normal...I'm not going to get my hopes up on that though...

yikes! I'm SO sorry Robin! seeing your little man struggle and feel so sick is the worst! wait, you being sick with him is the worst! I hope both of you feel 100% soon :)
