Yesterday we went to the fair! It was fun to get out and do something as a family. Tyson had a blast! Poor Colton got so warm in the carseat that he got fussy around the time we ate but once we got him cooled down he was quite content. We just walked around for the first little bit looking at all the different contest entries. There were some amazing paintings and drawings, along with some really well made quilts and afghans. Then we decided we were hungry so we got some lunch. After we ate, we headed over to the petting zoo. When we got over there Tyson was so excited. Chris took him in and helped him feed some the animals while I took pictures from the side with Colton. Then he got to ride a pony for the first time ever! Tyson is still talking about riding the pony this morning, he loved it so much!
Petting a little calf. It was all snuggled up with a 5 week old camel. I failed to get a good pic of the camel though!
This baby goat was overly friendly and wanted to play. Before this happened the goat had jumped up on the bench and started head butting a ladies purse. Then he tried to eat it. She moved it and he immediately started trying to climb onto her lap. When Tyson climbed up on the bench, the goat decided to try and play with him. Let's just say that Tyson was no longer a fan of the baby goat after this!
First pony ride ever! I thought it was cool they were doing them for free and he was so excited about it! He loved it though!
I had to throw in a pic of my little man! He is 3 weeks old now!
It was my first time at a fair here in Utah and I am thinking that it is going to become a regular summer activity for us...until the kids grow out of it at least!
