Here are a few things that I've learned in my 3 weeks of being a mother of two.
- Dora the Explorer is a life saver during feeding time! She sure knows how to get a 2 year old to sit still most days!
- When big brother wants to help, sometimes you just have to sit back and let him give it a try. He eventually gets bored or frustrated and moves on to something else. If you don't let him try he just gets in the babies face and makes him cry louder.
- There can never be too many kisses given in a day. Whether it's from big brother to baby brother, mom/dad to toddler, toddler to mom/dad, or mom/dad to baby they are priceless and need to be shared!
- When baby is fussy and wants to be held, reading books and having big brother teach him all about the dinosaurs, animals, or singing the ABC's over and over again from the same book is a great way to calm baby and keep big brother happy!
and last but most important,
- You never know how much love your heart can hold until you have more than one child and you realize you can love them both equally and in enormous, words-cannot-explain amounts! I honestly never thought I could love two little people as much as I love these boys! They are my world (along with my AMAZING husband!) and I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for blessing mine and Chris's lives with their sweet spirits for us to love, teach, and protect!
