This last week has gone by so fast and I just can't believe how much Tyson has grown and changed! There have been so many firsts that I just don't know where to start.
The other day I decided to sit him up using the boppy pillow and he lust loved it! He loved that he could sit up and look aorud at everything without someone having to hold him. It was nice to have him propped up to play with him for a little bit. He got fussy when he started to fall asleep sitting there so I layed him down and he fell asleep just laying on the bed.

We are all very excited that tax season is over, especially Grandpa because that means that Grandpa gets to spend a little more time with Tyson. He came down on Sunday and spent a good couple hours just holding and playing with Tyson and they both just loved it! It is so wonderful for them to get the opportunity to bond and be together...they are going to have a great relationship!

He absolutely LOVES the swing!!! At least when it is time to sleep. We just put him in the swing and turn it up and then turn on the music and he will sleep quite nicely for quite a while.
One of his wierd little quirks is that he likes to sleep with one eye open sometimes. It is like he is peeping to see what is going on because sometimes he will wake up and sometimes he will just doze back off to sleep. It is so cute! He ahas also started to make noises in his sleep. He mainly squeaks but sometimes you get some good grunts out of him.

Today I gave him a bath and that really didn't go over very well. He really did not enjoy being naked and wet. I am thinking that I may not have had the water warm enough. Who knows...he was definitely cold when we got done with it. I am just slowly learning how to do things. This was the first bath that I have given to him in his tub.

Chris likes to take showers with him and when they take their showers he just cleans him off in there. It is so funny because Tyson absolutely LOVES to take the showers. I am just going to have to work on the baths.

This last week we have started to take walks since the weather has finally warmed up. He will be wide awake and can be super fussy and the second I put him in his carseat he is just as happy as can be and then falls asleep. He loves to go for walks and drives as long as he is recently fed and has on a clean diaper. After we get back from the walks Mom just leaves him in the carseat to sleep until he wakes up to eat again!

I am getting so chunky now! I have a nice round belly and cute little chubby cheeks! We went in for a WIC appointment today. It was the one that put him in the system and so they weighed him and measured his length and head circumference. He weighs 7lbs and 15oz, is 20 and 3/4 in long, and has a head circumference of 14 and 3/4 in. It is just amazing how fast he is gaining weight. He is now just about 2lbs bigger than he was when we brought him home and 1lb bigger than he was at the doctor about 2 weeks ago. We go to the doctor again on Wednesday so we will see how big he is then...probably won't be much different than today but who knows!

He seems to be pretty stuffy these last few days and we have quickly learned that his least favorite thing is the booger sucker (also reffered to as a nasal aspirator). He will be ok when we first start to suck the boogers but after about 3 times he starts to get so upset and it is so funny to hear his funny little cry...it really is a funny upset cry!

Some other things that he has started to do this last week is that he will eat and then be awake for about an hour and a half. Then he will sleep for about 2 hours and then get up and eat for an hour and start the cycle all over again. Also when he eats he likes to hold my finger so that when I go to take the bottle away he can keep his death grip so that it is harder for me to take it away. It is so funny!

He really isn't the biggest fan of tummy time but Mom tries to get him on the floor of a little bit so that he can work on strengthening his neck muscles. Two Sundays ago he was on his tummy and was pushing up with his hands and lifted his head up. It was so fast and jerky that the weight just went to the right place and he rolled right over. He was so surprised that he started to cry! I flipped him back onto his tummy to see if he woudl do it again but no such luck. I would have been quite surprised if he was already able to roll over at less than 2 weeks old!

I absolutely LOVE being a mom! Somedays it is hard and frustrating but it is so rewarding! To have the great and amazing responsibility to care for one of God's sons is so amazing! I just love and cherish every minute that I get to spend with my sweet little boy. We love to spend time with Daddy too! He is busy with work and school so he is gone alot but when we get the time together it is the best time ever! I just love it! I can't wait to see how much my little man changes in the next week. It is the best adventure ever!

He is growing fast and getting big! I cant believe he is 3 weeks already. Bailee hates her sponge baths but hopefully when he cord falls off she will enjoy a normal bath better since she will be able to sit in the warm water. A few of the feedings formula has come out her nose because we found out we were feeding her too much so the booger sucker came in really handy. And Bailee loves her swing and bouncer. Anything that will rock or move her and she really also likes to look at things so would be the mobile from her crib on the bassinet plus she likes the music. Glad all is going well.
He is so adorable Robin! I can't wait to meet the lil guy!
