One Month Old!!!!

I cannot believe that Tyson is already ONE MONTH OLD!!! It seems like it was just yesterday that Chris and I were heading up to the hospital to have him! This last month has been such an amazing and educational one for me. I am just amazed at how much development really happens in such a small amount for time. He has grown physically, emotionally, and mentally and just keeps changing more everyday!

He is quite the kid! Some of his favorite things are swinging, napping with Chris, and going for walks and drives. He is a complete and total binkie baby. If he loses his binkie while he is trying to fall asleep then he will start to fuss until Chris or I go and put it back in his mouth. It will be so nice when he can finally pick it up and put it back in on his own! It would also work if he would just learn to suck on his thumb, although I know that it is hard to break that habit. His favorite thing to do after he eats his breakfast is to sit up and just look around. He gets the cutest look on his face. It is his little signature look that he has had since day one! Now it is his curious look. When he is looking around he always winds up stopping and just staring at the blinds. I think he likes looking at them because of the lines and the contrast between the blinds and the light coming through them.

He is slowly starting to figure out smiling. We get one every now and then and it is usually when we don't have the camera out but we finally got one! I know that everyone keeps telling me that they are just gassy smiles but not all of them are. I have learned the difference between his gassy smiles and his real smiles! I am starting to figure out the difference in his different cries but it is still a work in progress. Last night we decided to put him in the crib to sleep and it went so well. He slept really good and I slept even better. He is one noisy baby while he is falling asleep and it was keeping me awake because I was just waiting for him to start crying. now with him in the crib I am not able to hear all his little slepe noises but I can still hear him cry with the baby monitor. I have to volume set so that I just hear the crying!

We have been using the new formula for 48 hours now and I am starting to see a difference. It is so nice! He is less fussy than before and he is definitely spitting up less! The last poopy diaper that I changed was still diarrhea but that was yesterday plus I figure it will take longer for that to change than the spitting up part. I am thinking that things are changing there though because I haven't seen a poopy diaper yet today and he was having 1 to 2 a day when he was having the diarrhea. It is nice though that he isn't spitting up as much. Yesterday I was thinking that it really wasn't working because after his bottle around noon he projectile vomitted all over Grandma Rood! It was pretty funny to me that he did it while Grandma was holding him and not me! I am ALWAYS the one that gets spit up on so it was nice to see it happen to someone else! It is so nice to see the spitting up lessen though!

I was sitting on the bed yesterday with Tyson watching TV and I look down to see him holding his binkie! It was just the cutest thing! I know that he didn't pick it up on purpose but I was so excited that I just had to get a picture of it. The fact that it stayed in his hand long enough for me to run, grab the camera, and take a picture was a miracle!

I found this cute little sleeper at the DI and had to buy it. My favorite thing is the collar! It looks so cute!
